Every now and then I compare where we are today with how I grew up, and it’s simply amazing. I captured and assembled this slow motion video (there’s a colony in my yard, so I just had to wait a few minutes for one to land) in about a half hour.
I can’t begin to imagine what it would have taken to do this when I was a kid. Obviously the equipment existed, but to do this with what I had in my pocket, and share it with the world immediately, would have been quite the miracle.
